As many of you will know, getting supplies of Mepps was a challenge this season (thankfully, they're now back in!). But to keep you all happy, we found an Italian supplier that makes very similar, traditional European metal spinners.
The Ilba Tondo Trout/Perch Spinner - like the French Mepps Comet, has an elongated blade with an angle of rotation of 45 degrees which perfectly mimics the motion of an insect. It is highly-effective in quiet water, and very light in fast-flowing currents.
