Garda-Approved Safety Course at OpenSeason.ie
- OpenSeason.ie run regular Garda-Approved Safety Courses, which An Garda Síochána require you to have completed as part of any first-time firearms license application.
- They are held every Saturday morning at 9am at our Nenagh shop (E45 AK40) - free Saturday 3-hour parking in car park directly behind our shop.
- *One-on-one/urgent bookings also available on request*.

- For one-on-one bookings, please book as below, and we will phone you to arrange a date/time.
- Numbers are limited - if your preferred date is unavailable, this means that that particular date is full.
- The course lasts 75 minutes, and covers the following areas:
- Firearms Safety;
- Safe & Correct Handling;
- Health & Safety;
- Ballistics;
- Care & Cleaning;
- Environment;
- Basic Firearms Legislation.
- On completion of your course, we will issue you with a Garda-approved Certificate of Completion to submit with your license application.
